Lulu & the Bo's Gang

Upon hearing the words "Ma Cabane À Rêves," I envision a cozy cabin made of large fabrics where drawings, stuffed animals, and Pokémon cards intertwine ;)

A quick word to introduce ourselves...

Hello, my name is Lucie, I'm a mother of three children: a 9-year-old daughter and two sons who are almost 7 and 4 years old. We live with my partner Axel in Nantes.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream, and I think I've been nagging my boyfriend about it for 10 years, is to go on a "small" round-the-world trip, ideally before our eldest starts middle school (it's urgent, LOL)

A place where you love to gather with family?

In our 30-year-old camper van, which we nicknamed "Ours" (Bear).

What are the little everyday pleasures you enjoy sharing with your family?

In addition to our often spontaneous trips aboard Ours, we enjoy cycling, and as soon as the good weather arrives, spending the afternoon on the coast.

In winter, we love staying warm and playing board games one after another.

We'd love to know your secrets/tips for managing your daily life as parents. Any little rituals you'd like to share with us?

I'm lucky enough to be present every Wednesday and weekend to manage daily life and enjoy time with the children.

My little trick for spending time with each of them is to take turns inviting them to bake a sweet treat with me for a snack.

If I had to find a ritual that makes our lives easier, it would probably be bedtime, which we try to stick to.

How do you organize your family weeks?

There are two of us managing daily life, even though Axel travels a lot from May to September. The rest of the year, he can be easily available and flexible. Axel also handles the mornings and I handle the evenings; on Wednesdays, we share the children according to our respective obligations. We recently started using the Ma cabane à Rêves weekly planner, which I already find very successful due to its design and colors. It allows us to note down all the family's appointments, activities, groceries, etc. We also add pretty magnets to highlight things we absolutely must not forget, such as the gift to buy for a friend or the picnic for a school trip.

If I ask you to close your eyes, what do you imagine when I say the words "Ma Cabane à Rêves"?

I see a cozy hut made of large fabrics where drawings, stuffed animals, and Pokémon cards are mixed together ;)

What do you like about Ma Cabane à Rêves and why?

What I appreciate most, because I'm quite sensitive to this, is that these are evolving products. For example, the magnets can also be used during bath time, which is great because they are durable, hygienic as they are easy to dry, and very playful.

What do you think of our large magnetic whiteboard?

It's a large blank page for children.

It's also an object that evolves with children's age; for example, it can be placed on the floor for drawing, above a desk for note-taking or hanging photos, and so on.

If Ma Cabane à Rêves were to develop your dream children's product, what would it be?

A portable slate that folds like a book, or even detachable so that several children can use it at the same time. I envision something practical to take everywhere for long car or camper van trips, or to put in a bag for restaurant outings, but for that it needs to be ingenious like an all-in-one (slate + pencils + cloths + magnets).

Would you recommend our products with your eyes closed? Why? To whom?

Yes, for families looking for easy-to-use materials for all family members. I find Ma Cabane à rêves products well-designed and attractive.

A word of love for my Dream Shack?

Long live Ma Cabane à Rêves!

Thanks Lucie!
