dyslexia, dysorthographia and dysgraphia

"For several months now, I've been using Ma Cabane à Rêves' lovely magnets with my patients.

It's an original tool that offers many adaptation possibilities.

Depending on the patient's age and difficulties, I use them to re-educate:

- Oral language

- Written language

- Logic

..."

Some examples of activities HERE:

01 _ The child builds a small scene alone with about ten magnets. Then, they take a picture of it. They dismantle it and mix the magnets. They then explain it to their play partner, who creates it according to the instructions. The photo and the creation are then compared to verify that the instructions were clear and well understood. Afterwards, roles can be reversed!

-> work on oral language: sentence construction, vocabulary, spatial markers, oral comprehension...

02 _ The child creates a character with the La Fabrikapoupées magnet collection. They give it a name and write it with the La Fabrikamots magnetic letters. (An adult can help if needed).

-> work on entering transcription: phonological awareness, use of the grapho-phonemic code (sound = letter(s))

03 _ The adult creates a scene without showing it to the child, then writes a description of it. The child must read the instructions to build the same scene.

-> work on reading (decoding, comprehension...). The adult adapts the difficulty and length of the text to the child's level. If possible, roles can be reversed for writing work (spelling, syntax, summarization skills...)
